Vacuum cleaners

Things to consider when choosing your new vacuum cleaner

Types of vacuum cleaner

Cylinder vacuum cleaners are naturally compact and easy to store, making them suitable for tighter spaces. If you have a larger home and more space to keep clean, then upright vacuums with a large dust capacity may suit you.

Both cylinder and upright vacuum cleaners can be cordless – meaning they are battery powered and do not need to be plugged into the wall. You can also get lightweight and handheld models.

Bagged vs. Bagless

There are two options when it comes to collecting and storing dust and dirt. Bagged vacuums capture any mess in a bag to throw away; bagless vacuum cleaners have a canister which you can empty into the bin and reuse.
