Domestic & General, the leading specialist warranty services group, is celebrating the continued success of its Repair & Protect breakdown repair service, after signing new partnerships with BSH Electrodomésticos España S.A and Fagor Electrodomésticos S.Coop.

Repair & Protect is Domestic & General’s simple and reliable solution to the all-too common breakdown nightmare. Covering all of the major household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, fridge/freezers, ovens, hobs and cookers, the service offers customers an up-front fixed price for their repair, which is carried out by a manufacturer-approved engineer with genuine replacement parts. Customers also receive an additional warranty providing additional protection against any further breakdowns.

In only four years, Repair & Protect has grown to selling over 1,000 plans each month in Spain. It is now provided by four of the country’s leading manufacturers, with BSH and Fagor alone responsible for over fifty percent of the country’s domestic appliances market.

Part of the worldwide BSH group, BSH Electrodomésticos España S.A is responsible for the Bosch, Siemens, Neff, Lynx and Balay brands. Fagor, Europe’s fifth largest electrical appliance manufacturer, makes the Fagor, Edesa and Aspes product ranges. The partnerships will see Domestic & General provide both companies with all of the required product development, training, IT support, customer management and claims systems to sell the Repair & Protect service to their customers.
