04 February 2013 - Domestic & General Announces New Pan-European Contract with Whirlpool

Domestic & General, the leading specialist warranty provider, is proud to have been chosen by Whirlpool to provide their warranty and product protection services across many of their important European markets.

Whirlpool is one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of major home appliances, selling a wide range of domestic appliances in Europe under the Whirlpool and Bauknecht brands.

Domestic & General has been providing a full range of warranty services to Whirlpool in the UK and Ireland for over a decade, and this new five year contract will now extend these services to France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Poland.

The partnership will see Domestic & General employ its highly successful product-registration and data collection initiatives, including in-box cards, on-product stickers, and innovative on-line registration sites. These marketing channels will enable Whirlpool to enhance their already comprehensive customer database and support their customer relationship strategy. Furthermore, Domestic & General will also supply a number of warranty products, including annual and extended cover, as well as its popular Repair and Protect emergency repair service.
