10 July 2012 - Domestic & General and Indesit Company Announce Contract Extension
Domestic & General is delighted to announce it has agreed a new five year contract extension with Indesit Company for its UK and Ireland markets.
Through its Hotpoint, Indesit and Cannon brands, Indesit Company is one of the UK’s favourite manufacturers of domestic appliances. It first joined with Domestic & General in 2000 to offer comprehensive protection across its range of products, and since then has gone on to deliver outstanding levels of care and service to its customers.
The agreement, which will run until 2018, will see a continued focus on product development and innovation, and will include many of Domestic & General’s unique product registration and data collection initiatives. It will also ensure that customers continue to receive the high standards of care that they have come to expect, including a nationwide repair network and dedicated UK-based call centres.
In addition, both companies are looking to build upon the success of the Repair & Protect product. This offers customers a great way of booking a prompt and professional appliance repair with complete confidence. It offers an up-front fixed price for their repair, which is carried out by an Indesit-approved engineer with genuine replacement parts. In addition, customers receive an additional warranty providing one year’s protection against any further breakdowns.
