10 September 2013 - Domestic & General Signs Exclusive New Contract with Smeg UK
Domestic & General, the leading specialist warranty provider, is pleased to announce that it has signed a new agreement with domestic appliance manufacturer Smeg to provide their extended warranty services in the UK.
Smeg was founded in Guastalla, Italy in 1948, and has become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of home appliances, renowned for its innovative and iconic designs. It has served the UK market for more than 20 years, and today supplies a range of over 750 products via a growing network of retailers and distributors.
Domestic & General currently provides Smeg with all of its warranty services in Italy and, under the terms of the 5 year agreement, will also now provide Smeg’s British customers with the highest levels of care, including a nationwide repair network and 24/7 support from UK-based contact centres. It will also implement many of its proven marketing and product registration initiatives, including in-the-box cards, on-product stickers, and online registration channels.
