17 November 2011 - Domestic & General and ProMarkt offer Innovative Support Service for Electronic Appliances

Domestic & General, the leading provider of warranty products and services, and German electronics retailer ProMarkt have today launched a new customer support service designed to make their customers lives even easier.

Computers, smartphones, game consoles and other electronic devices are now a fixture in German households and this service will offer immediate help and advice for any questions or problems a customer may have. Over 140 topics are covered by the fully trained experts, ranging from how to correctly install a computer to the use of operating systems such as Windows, MacOS or Linux.

The plans have been designed to be as flexible and cost effective as possible. Each plan is valid for up to two main devices, such as a PC, laptop, smart phone or games console, and any number of connected devices, and the support lines are open every day from Monday to Saturday until 22:00.

Customers can choose between three different plan options. The Pro30 service with 30 calling minutes per month costs 5.99 € per month. The Pro60 service with 60 minutes costs 9.99 € per month. The Proflat services, with unlimited support, costs 19.99 €  per month.

Carlos Bermudez, Managing Director of Domestic & General Germany says, “Until now, ProMarkt customers have been able to protect their new purchases against breakdowns and accidents by purchasing a ProMarkt ProGarantie plan. But this service offer customers a much greater service."

Daniel Boldin, CEO of ProMarkt, adds: “Modern electronic devices are increasingly complex. To ensure our customers can get the most out of them, and also to ensure any problems are quickly resolved, we have developed this new and innovative helpline.”
