22 July 2013 - Domestic & General Australia expands into new premises

Domestic & General, the leading specialist warranty service provider, has completed expansion of its Australian operation into new premises in Melbourne’s prestigious Central Business District (CBD).

Having opened for business in Australia in 2007, Domestic & General continues to go from strength to strength in the region. The current move marks the second major premises expansion since launch and allows Domestic & General’s business and Publicis contact centre staff to operate under one roof. The new office has space to accommodate over 80 employees, with private offices for senior management and break out areas for informal meetings. New meeting suites and a large board room have been purpose designed for client meetings and training.

John Pearmund, Group Chief Executive at Domestic & General, commented, "Our Australian business continues to perform exceptionally well and the new larger premises will enable our continued growth in the region. The new site is a short walk from excellent business transport links and surrounded by many cafes, restaurants and shops. The office overlooks Melbourne’s metro railway, the Yarra River and has views of the city’s impressive skyline including the Eureka building."

Staff and clients attended a formal welcome reception at the new premises in September 2013.
