29 July 2014 - Andrew Crossley Appointed Chief Financial Officer

Domestic & General is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew (Andy) Crossley as Chief Financial Officer. Andy, who recently held the position of Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer, Prudential UK & Europe, will join the Group in September 2014 subject to regulatory approval. The Group’s Legal, Compliance and Risk functions will also report into Andy.

Andy takes over from Paul Lee who has led the Finance function as CFO for seven years and we thank him for his enormous contribution to the Group and wish him every success for the future.

Andy is a Chartered Accountant with 28 years’ experience within the financial services sector. He has operated at the highest level as Chief Financial Officer for Prudential UK & Europe and Group Chief Risk officer for Prudential Plc. He held several senior finance roles at Lloyds Bank, including Deputy Group Financial Controller and Finance Director of their agricultural mortgage business. He was Group Financial Controller of Legal and General Plc from 1994 – 2000, before moving to Prudential to be Director Group Finance and Risk. He became CFO of Prudential’s UK business in 2007 and Deputy CEO in 2010.
