12 August - Domestic & General reaches another milestone as it celebrates 10m customers

Domestic & General are delighted to announce that it has reached the milestone of 10 million customers.

This achievement confirms Domestic & General’s growth & resilience in the prevailing economic climate, and illustrates just how many people now rely on us to look after them when things go wrong.

For over sixty years Domestic & General has providing product protection for major domestic appliances, consumer electronic products and central heating systems. In recent years our growth has been driven largely by a very clear customer focus, and continuous product development to reflect changing consumer trends. This includes innovations such as Repair & Protect, which enable customers to buy a plan at the point of need, which protects them for their immediate breakdown and any subsequent faults for an additional period.

Our growth in our international markets is of particular significance. The company currently operates in eleven countries and international sales currently make up 22% of total business, a figure which is expected to grow considerably in the coming years
